Ethan is getting more excited about different holidays. New Years wasn't different. We enjoyed shopping for new decorations and using old decorations from last year. He's still a little young for going out late and that was confirmed this year. We were glad we stayed home.
It was a party at home for New Year's 2023.
I had to blow up the balloons. We still had leftover helium from Ethan's Birthday.
He was asking to set off the poppers and confetti all night, long before midnight. We ended up decorating and taking pictures around 10:00 pm and beginning to celebrate. By the time midnight came around he was acting wild and was a lot to handle. We were glad he was excited but we could tell it was too much excitement late at night. While I look forward to being able to see fireworks at midnight at a big gathering, I'm glad we can still have fun at home.
