The South Florida Fair was back for 2022. We decided to go on a Tuesday thinking that there would be short lines and more space. It was nice to go on a Tuesday. It wasn't crowded but there were still a lot of people there. We all had a good time and we were there a lot longer than I thought we would be there. Ethan can definitely keep going and going if he's having a good time. We spent most of the day at the fair, from the afternoon to night. It was a good time. The weather was nice; balmy in the day and cool at night even though there was some drizzle. We got to go on rides, eat special food, see exhibits, and watch the parade.
First stop: Fair food. We got a real donut, which Ethan enjoyed. Next stop was raspberry lemonade.
We got wristbands to go on rides all day long. Ethan got to pick his rides and we all had fun.
Sometimes, he wouldn't look at the camera because the view from the top of the rides was so interesting.
The little kid rides were nice. We went on a few together and he went on a few by himself.
Yes, we stood in line like any fair.
There was a robot exhibit at the fair and we got to talk to one.
He even posed for pictures with us.
We showed up early for the parade and found a good spot.
It was a short parade, but it was nice, with a marching band, Mardi-Gras floats (we got beads), military and police vehicles, and of course, robots.
Ethan barely made the height limit for some adult rides. The woman in the picture isn't hiding her face, she is scared. Yes, this is not a kiddie ride. It had just as much whiplash as any roller coaster in a major theme park. Ethan loved it.
Naturally, we had to play carnival games too. We left with a few stuffed toys but didn't really win any carnival games.
It was fun playing though.
