My first exposure to the Law of Attraction was The Secret which was a movie and a book by Rhonda Byrne. This is the follow up to The Secret.
The power behind The Power, is love. Byrne explains that love is driving force behind the Law of Attraction. If all things are done with love and followed by gratitude, the person giving love will receive what they want and need. It is a simple philosophy yet seems to be hard for most people to execute. The process is explained in depth with anecdotes and examples throughout the book.
Having just listened to The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle, I finished this book in no time. Everything seems to be easier to digest after that book.
A few things I just realized: (1) My December and January books both begin with "The Power..." and I did not realize that until doing this blog (2) I might be in Oprah's book club and not even realize it since both my December and January audiobooks gained significantly more popularity thanks to her.
