Our old refrigerator came with the house. If I haven't mentioned it here yet, we bought the house from flippers. They bought the house from the bank after the previous owners were foreclosed on. They then fixed it up as cheaply as possible which included the cheapest refrigerator they could buy.
Here is the old refrigerator. Some of the plastic drawers were already cracking. It was just too small for people who cook. We had to get very creative after Thanksgiving dinner.
We had been talking about it for a few years but finally got a new refrigerator. It is an LG and is 31 cubic feet compared to the old one which had 23 cubic feet. The only feature we miss is the water dispenser. There is an ice maker in the freezer. I actually prefer grabbing the ice rather than a noisy ice dispenser.
Look at this. There is lots more room. We have plenty of room on the doors for all of our water bottles, milk, juice, and condiments. That leaves space on the shelves for cooked food. OK so there isn't much cooked food inside when I took the photo because we were cooking that night.
I was a little worried about the size o the refrigerator. It is noticeably bigger than the older model but once the refrigerator was installed in the kitchen, I didn't notice any difference. It has not been in the way or a problem.
