Here is a picture of me pressure washing the driveway. What fun.
On my day off, I woke up that morning to find a notice on our front door. The village had just given me a warning that I have two weeks to clean my driveway and fix my fence or else I would begin to incur fines. I thought I had avoided all of this when I bought a house without a Home Owner's Association!
Now I got to spend all evening pressure washing my huge driveway (I could park an RV and 4 cars in it) and I had to pay $80 for the rental from Home Depot.
Next I get to repair my rotten fence. I know that I need to replace it soon, but I wanted to wait another year or two. Now I'm going to dump $600 and one day of labor into a fence that will be destroyed and replaced in 1-2 years.
I also have to have it all done by the end of the March.
